Kerala Service Rules - Part II (Travelling Allowance for PSC Verification & Departmental Test)

Eligibility for Travelling Allowance and Daily Allowance

1. PSC Verification:

   • Travelling Allowance and Daily Allowance are admissible for journeys undertaken for Public Service Commission (PSC) verification, as per Government Order GO(P)No.6/2013/GAD dated 09/01/2013.

2. Obligatory Departmental Examination:

   • Travelling Allowance is permitted for journeys to attend obligatory departmental examinations.

   • Restriction: Travelling Allowance can be claimed no more than twice for any specific examination, as outlined in Rule 77, Part II, Kerala Service Rules (KSR).
